How to create and setup sub domain on a blogger (blogspot) blog from custom domain?
Who already have a blog with a domain / custom domain or also called TLD (Top Level Domain), you can also create several sub domains from the parent domain or custom domain that you use. This is useful if you have another blog that you want to link to a domain / custom domain so you don't need to buy a new domain anymore and it's quite useful to save your expenses.

For example, the domain / custom domain address that you have is https://www.yourdomain.com and if you want to add another blog for example with a niche Technology, you can add sub domains with the name Tech or techno (https://tech.yourdomain.com).

Let's follow the steps below.


First, log in to the member page or client area of your domain. You can adjust it with the client area domain that you use.

Then click the Domain menu and select which domain you want to add a sub domain to. Like the example here select yourdomain.com, If you want to add sub domains from the yourdomain.com domain.

Once selected, it will bring up menus such as nameservers, manage DNS, etc. Select the Manage DNS or Manage DNS menu .

Then add a new record in the Manage DNS column, Add subdomain name record and add ghs.google.com to the CNAME column .

Well, now only needs to wait for the propagation, it takes about 1 hours or usually faster than the new sub domain you made.

Next enter the Blogger dashboard , then select the blog that you want to add to the sub domain you made. Then select the Settings menu > Publishing and click on Custom Domain for your blog to install a new sub domain.

If you encounter problems, you can’t click Save when installing a sub domain. Possible Nameservers on the blog is different from Nameservers on the main blog, for that just add the names provided by Google to the Manage DNS page earlier. Examples of nameservers like this:

The arrow above is the nameservers from your blog, add the nameservers on the Manage DNS page by adding a new record in the column provided.

Select the record type with CNAME , then click Save and wait for the same number of times as the previous step. If so, try clicking Save again on the Blogger page.

How to enable HTTPS on blogger blog with custom domain and sub domain of custom domain?


Let us begin, first of all login into your Blogger account, please type or copy and paste it draft.blogger.com into the search tab.

After that, click the Settings menu > Basic > HTTPS , then you will see two options in HTTPS Category. HTTPS Availability and HTTPS Redirect. click on the HTTPS Availability toggle menu.

After activating, wait for few moments until the menu on HTTPS Switching opens. Click the refresh button in the browser or click F5 on the keyboard, you can see HTTPS Availability Status: pending HTTPS Availability is being processed. Check back later.

The enabling process takes time, if your blog has huge number of posts then it will take little extra time, we recommend you to enable this option in night and leave it for some time.




HTTPS redirect setting unavailable unless HTTPS is avialable. If HTTPS already Available click on the HTTPS redirect toggle menu to redirect HTTP to HTTPS.



Finally, the HTTPS feature that is given for free has been installed on your blog's custom domain.

Requirements to create .com.np on Blogger.com with www.freedns.afraid.org

STEP 1. Browse freedns.afraid.org from your internet address-bar.

STEP 2. Click on "Domain". appears on the left sidebar Dashboard.

STEP 3. Click on "Setup an account here" to create free DNS.

STEP 4.Select"Starter".

STEP 5. First name, Last name, User Id, Password, Email ID and Captcha then click on "I agree to abide by the Terms and conditions" then Click on Send activation email

Click on "Domain".

  • Type your registered Email and Password then Click On Login Button.

You must verify your email first.

STEP 6. Check your email. Then open mail for verification.  An email from FreeDNS subject “[freedns]: Welcome new member! Activation instructions enclosed”.

Click on activation URL.

STEP 7. Login with your registered Email Id and Password.

STEP 8. Click on Domain menu appears on left sidebar Dashboard

STEP 9. Click on "Add a domain into FreeDNS". Then, click on "Add a domain into FreeDNS", appears like the screenshot picture below.

STEP 10. Enter your domain name on Domain field and Choose Shared: Private or Shared: Public on Shared Status field, Non-Shared: Stealth only for Premium Member. Then Click On Submit button to submit your domain into free DNS.

STEP 11. Your Domain has been added to the system. Then Click On Domain menu on the left sidebar.

Click on "Manage".

STEP 12. You will see 6 sub-domains which are not configured yet. Click on "ADD

STEP 13. Manually add Type "A" and Destination. Leave sub-domain field Blank and On Domain field appears your domain name.
  1. On Type field select - A and On Destination - 216.239.32.21
  2. On Type field select - A and On Destination - 216.239.34.21
  3. On Type field select - A and On Destination - 216.239.36.21
  4. On Type field select - A and On Destination - 216.239.38.21

STEP 14. After submitted Type "A" and Destination, your screen appears like the Screenshot Picture above.
  • Login to your blogger website to connect with Blogger.

Go To blogger dashboard Settings => Basic to set up the third-party domain.

STEP 15. Click on "+Set up a third-party URL for, your blog,"

STEP 16. Enter the URL of the .np custom domain which you have Registered, keep in mind that, it must begin with www in order to work. And click Save.

STEP 17. You should see an error, and two CNAMEs listed below. Each CNAME is composed of two parts Name, Labe or Host, and Destination, Target or Points to. The first CNAME is the same for everyone, Name is "www" and Destination "ghs.google.com." The second CNAME is particular to your blog and your Google Account and is therefore different for each person.
  • Go to the free DNS Dashboard

STEP 18. Click On add

Select
  1. Type: CNAME
  2. Subdomain: www
  3. Domain: yourdomain.com.np (private) (Already appears your domain here )
  4. Destination: ghs.google.com

STEP 19. To add another CNAME Click on add

Select
  1. Type: CNAME
  2. Subdomain: (Submit Your Blogspot's [ Label or Host field ] )
  3. Domain: yourdomain.com.np (private) (Already appears your domain here )
  4. Destination: ( Submit Your Blogspot's [Destination, Target, or Points To field] )

STEP 20. Click On Save Button.

Now your blogspot.com address will soon redirect to your new custom domain (www.yourdomain.com.np). Be patient, as it might take up to 24 hours for the redirect to start working. If you're still seeing an error after 24 hours, it means your settings weren't entered correctly and you should try the process a second time. If your new domain isn't taking you to your blog, wait for another day or two to make sure all the DNS servers have been updated. If it still isn't working, contact your registrar to make sure you entered the DNS settings correctly.

How to Setup .NP Custom Domain On Blogger with Afraid Free DNS


Cloudflare offers free authoritative Domain Name System (DNS) service for all clients which are powered by an anycast network. According to W3Cook Cloudflare's DNS service currently powers over 35% of managed DNS domains. SolveDNS have found Cloudflare to consistently have one of the fastest DNS lookup speeds worldwide, with a reported lookup speed of 8.66ms in April 2016. On April 1, 2018, Cloudflare announced a 'privacy-first' consumer DNS service, hosted at IP addresses 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. Alternatively, the service can be accessed via IPv6 at 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001.


Create .com.np on Blogger.com with cloudflare.com

STEP 1. Browse https://www.cloudflare.com from your internet address bar.


Click on Sign Up button.


Enter your Email Address Or Gmail account (Gmail Id) and Password. Then Click on Create Account.



To add your registered Custom domain name ( Registered .com.np Domain), Enter Domain name Then, Click on Add Site button.


Click on Next button to select your plan.


Select plan. you can use free DNS service from Cloudflare. Click on Confirm Plan.


Click on Confirm button.


Cloudflare queries your site's existing DNS records and automatically import them here. If you have already added DNS records, you don't have to enter them manually.

Review the DNS records Cloudflare queried for, and get instructions on how to change your name servers. to get instructions Click on Continue button.



On this page, you can see current name server and Cloudflare name server. To active your domain with Cloudflare, you must change your current name server (DNS) to Cloudflare name server (DNS). In order to start receiving all the speed and security of Cloudflare, you'll need to change the name servers configured at your domain registrar to the given name server of Cloudflare on this page. Click on Continue button to view the dashboard of Cloudflare.



On the dashboard, overview shows your website isn't active. To active your domain with Cloudflare, you must modify your .np domain name server to Cloudflare name server. Remember that, name servers are different for each Cloudflare user account.

To change your custom .np domain's name server go to www.register.com.np.


Sign in with your registered email address and password. Then, you will redirect to your .np domain Control panel.  



Click on Active domain tab.

  • now you can view your .np domain and you can edit your personal information and your name server (DNS)
  • To change your name server to Cloudflare's name server click on Edit DNS


  • Enter your two Cloudflare name server (DNS). Then, Click on Edit DNS button.
  • Click on view button to check your name server.
  • Go to the Cloudflare dashboard.


  1. To check your DNS records click on DNS tab.
  2. If you have already entered your DNS records, you don't have to enter them manually. otherwise, you must enter DNS records manually.


To setup, your custom .np domain with Blogspot's blog follow these steps.

  • Manually add Type "A" and "Destination". On name field type your domain name or @

  1. On Type field select - A  Name - @ and On Value or IPV4: - 216.239.32.21 
  2. On Type field select - A  Name - @ and On Value or IPV4: - 216.239.34.21 
  3. On Type field select - A  Name - @ and On Value or IPV4: - 216.239.36.21 
  4. On Type field select - A  Name - @ and On Value or IPV4: - 216.239.38.21

  • Select 
  1. Type: A  
  2. Name: your custom .np domain name or @
  3. Value or IPV4: 216.239.32.21
Click on Add Record button.

  • Select 
  1. Type: A  
  2. Name: your custom .np domain name or @
  3. Value or IPV4: 216.239.34.21
Click on Add Record button.

  • Select 
  1. Type: A  
  2. Name: your custom .np domain name or @
  3. Value or IPV4: 216.239.36.21
Click on Add Record button.

  • Select 
  1. Type: A  
  2. Name: your custom .np domain name or @
  3. Value or IPV4: 216.239.38.21

Click on Add Record  button. 

Now Manually add CNAME Records.

Log in to your blogger website to connect with Blogspot blog.
